Logan Anderson

Baritone - Eleva

Logan Anderson is ecstatic to be joining the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin. This fall, he will be a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, majoring in Neuroscience and Pre-Medicine. He graduated from Memorial High School and performed in the Old Abe Show Choir for four years. Logan enjoys spending time volunteering for different organizations such as Mayo Clinic and One World Surgery. In his junior year of high school, he and his mom went on a medical mission to Honduras where they worked in a surgery center that provides free medical care to people in need. Logan was an understudy for KIDS in 2019 and he looks forward to his summer as a principal performer.

Chase Bucheger

Tenor - Chippewa Falls

Chase Bucheger is finishing his sophomore year at UW-Eau Claire and he is very excited to enter his fourth and final season with the KIDS. At the university, he majors in music education with an emphasis on choral music. He is also part of 2 of the choral department’s flagship ensembles, the Singing Statesmen and Concert Choir. This past year he had the opportunity to choreograph for a student-created production called “Cabaret: Game Over.”  Outside of college, he choreographs Chippewa Falls High School’s competitive show choir, Melodics, as well as sings with the band Uncommon Denominator, who were recently voted the #1 cover band in the Chippewa Valley! Chase is ecstatic to be part of the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin and he really hopes you enjoy seeing us Live! In Living Color!

Gabe Clausing

Trombone - Rothschild

Gabe Clausing is excited for his summer with Kids From Wisconsin. He is going to be a senior at D.C. Everest high school this fall, with aspirations for a music performance degree for trombone in the future. He has a busy schedule with several ensembles including: School Concert and Jazz band, Central Wisconsin Youth Symphony, Pit Orchestras, and Jazz band at UWMC. Gabe loves playing all varieties of music and is ecstatic for his first year in KIDS.

Madison Crenshaw

Soprano - Racine

Madison Crenshaw is so excited to be returning to Kids From Wisconsin for her second year as a Principal Singer/Dancer. Maddie is currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point where she is working towards a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Music with a voice emphasis. Over the course of her theatre career, Maddie has performed in Miss Saigon (Ellen), My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Esmeralda). She is ecstatic to be able to perform with such a talented group of kids and truly hopes you enjoy the show!

Colton Curley

Tenor - Madison

Colton Curley is excited to join KIDS for his second year! He will be a freshman at UW-Eau Claire this fall where he plans to study business and recording arts. Colton grew up in a musical family and enjoys writing and producing his own music.  He plays a number of instruments, including piano, violin and drums. He was chosen as a finalist in the Overture’s Rising Stars competition and has been involved in school and community musicals for many years. Most recently, he was seen as Evan in La Follette High School’s production of 13 The Musical. He would like to thank his family, friends and all who supported him throughout his musical journey. Michael Decker

Tenor - Colby

Michael Decker is elated to be joining the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin! This fall he will be a freshman in college. Michael attended Colby High School where he was very active in the music department. His tenure in Colby Coalition included two section leader awards and four best male soloist awards. Last fall Michael played Troy Bolton in Colby’s production of “High School Musical.” He also participated in Chanhassen Dinner Theater’s “Teen Intensive Camp,” and attended a three day workshop in New York City; where he worked one on one with the cast of Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen.” This is Michael’s first summer in KIDS and he is thrilled to be surrounded by and learning from such talented people!

Nathan Edwards

Woodwind - Shawano

Nathan Edwards is going into his senior year at Shawano High School.  He loves all things music in school.  He has played in the pit orchestra for school musicals and has competed all over the country with the school’s jazz band.  Nathan was recently asked to be part of the Honor’s Band during the Louisville Jazz Festival.  Nathan plans to attend college and pursue a degree in music education.  Nathan is very excited to share his love of music with audiences all summer as part of KIDS.

Brett Fredrickson

Baritone - Mount Horeb

Brett Fredrickson is extremely grateful to be apart of the KIDS family for his third year as a principle singer/dancer. Brett has been learning how to perform since the age of nine taking many singing, acting, and dancing lessons at Forte Studios in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Brett is currently majoring in BFA Musical Theatre and BA Dance at University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. Brett would like to thank the KIDS organization for this very humbling opportunity, as well as his family and friends for the all of the love and support. 

Sam Gist

Tenor - Fox Point

Sam Gist is excited to join the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin. This fall, he will be a sophomore at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts working towards a BFA in Musical Theater. Sam’s past credits include numerous productions for First Stage Children’s Theater, and Skylight’s 2018 production of Hairspray and many others, including The WIZ, Ragtime, Music Man, Anything Goes, and Mary Poppins. This summer, Sam hopes to inspire young people from all backgrounds to pursue their own dreams through performing. This will be Sam’s debut summer with KIDS and he is looking forward to this new experience.

Dane Gleason

Electric Bass - Eagle River

Dane Gleason is extremely excited to join the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin for his second year. In the fall, Dane will be attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a freshman studying aerospace engineering. Dane is heavily involved in the fine arts such as a jazz ensemble, jazz combos, honor bands, and multiple stage productions both as a musician and as a performer. He has been playing bass guitar among other instruments, including piano and guitar, for just under 8 years. Additionally, he has been gigging professionally as a leader and as a sideman across Northern Wisconsin since the age of 12. Dane cannot wait to perform with the KIDS for another summer and hopes you enjoy Live! In Living Color. 

Owen Groth

Baritone - Monona

Owen Groth just finished his senior year at Monona Grove High School and can’t wait to spend his first summer performing with the Kids From Wisconsin. In high school, he participated in Show Choir and Dance Team as a dance captain, as well as MG Musicals: Les Miserables (Prouvaire), Crazy For You (Pete), The Music Man (Tommy Djilas), and Mary Poppins (Bert). Some of his achievements include a Jerry award for Outstanding Dance Performance in The Music Man, as well as making the All American Team through NDA in 2018 and 2019. In the fall, Owen will be attending college at either UW Stevens Point or UW Milwaukee for musical theater and dance.

Connor Hall

Trumpet - West Bend

Connor Hall is a graduate of West Bend East High School. Connor will be attending Berklee College of Music in the fall for music production and Trumpet performance. He has recently been growing his skills in music production and business by extending his connections with artists nationwide. Since Connor was 10, he has been enthralled with the trumpet and has been in love with all kinds of music his entire life. He performs with his own small brass band, "No Nonsense" and is arranging and composing new music. He is also currently learning how to play Guitar and Piano.  This is Connor's second season touring with Kids From Wisconsin and is excited to once again to take the stage. 

Kylee Hennes

Soprano - Hubertus

KyLee eagerly joins the KIDS for her first year as a singer/dancer.  She is a sophomore at Illinois Institute of Technology studying architecture and music.  KyLee plays electric guitar, dances, sings and acts making her a quadruple threat.  KyLee has performed professionally at Madison Square Garden, The Fireside Theatre, Lyric Opera of Chicago (THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Marta; THE MAGIC FLUTE, Actor) , Skylight Theatre (VIOLET, Young Violet; ANNIE, Annie; CAMINA BURANA, Actor), The Milwaukee Rep (EVERYBODY, Friendship).  KyLee thanks Kids, friends, family and her team at Stewart Talent for allowing her to do what she is passionate about; PERFORMING. 

Meguire Hennes

Alto - Hubertus

Meguire enthusiastically joins KIDS as a singer/dancer for a second year.  She is a sophomore at Montclair State University in New Jersey studying fashion and musical theatre.  Meguire is a quadruple threat singing, dancing, acting and playing the keyboard.  Meguire performs in professional productions and even had the opportunity to perform at Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall in NY.  Favorite roles include: Nina (LOST GIRL, Milwaukee Rep), Brenda (HAIRSPRAY, Skylight Music Theatre), Tink (TINKER BELL, First Stage Children’s Theatre) and young performer (MAGIC FLUTE, Lyric Opera of Chicago).  Meguire’s living the dream and appreciates her dream facilitators; family, friends and team at Stewart Talent. 

Ian Janssen

Keyboards - West Bend

Ian is incredibly excited to join the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin! He will be a senior at West Bend East High School this fall, where he is a drum major in the WBHS marching band. Ian enjoys performing with his school's New Orleans style brass band and has played with the pit orchestra for school musicals. He also works as a church organist on the weekends. Ian is thrilled to embark on his first summer with KIDS! He hopes you enjoy the show!

Alexcia Johnson

Soprano - MCFarland

Alexcia is very excited to be spending a second summer as a Singer/Dancer with Kids From Wisconsin. A senior at McFarland High School this fall, Alexcia is active in several band, choir and theatre ensembles, National Honor Society, softball and various leadership groups. She's studied vocal, instrumental, dance and theatre arts from a very young age and loves to perform!  Some of her favorite roles to date include Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Donna in Mamma Mia (Jerry Nomination), Annie (Jerry Award) and Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden.  Alexcia would like to thank her vocal coach, Dr. Melanie Cain, and her family for supporting her dreams. Alexcia cherishes creating music with her fellow KIDS and bringing a high energy show to you with Live! In Living Color, as well as connecting with communities and youth through Realize Your Dream workshops. Enjoy!

Tyler Jung

Baritone - Cottage Grove

Tyler Jung just finished his freshman year at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and is very excited to share this show with everyone!  He is a BFA Musical Theatre Major and Dance Minor. Past shows include The Music Man (Marcellus), Les Miserables (Marius), and Crazy For You (Bobby)!  He also did three years of show choir at Monona Grove High School where he was a dance captain.  This will be Tyler’s third summer with KIDS and cannot wait for you all to experience this show, Live! In Living Color!       

Mattie Kantor

Soprano - Madison

Mattie Kantor is THRILLED to be joining Kids From Wisconsin for her second and final summer as a principal Singer/Dancer. Mattie is a graduate of Madison West HS and this fall she will continue pursuing a BFA in musical theatre. She has most recently been seen as Natalie (Next To Normal) and Cinderella (Into The Woods). Mattie grew up dancing at The Cashel Academy of Irish Dance. She owes a huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of her arts education thus far and to her parents for their constant support in all her arts endeavors. Lastly, she thanks her brother, Liam, for always inspiring her to be a better artist.

Reagan Kettner

Alto - Schofield

Reagan Kettner is ecstatic to be joining the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin. This fall, Reagan will be a senior at DC Everest Senior High School. Most recent productions include Elf The Musical (Jovie), Into The Woods (Cinderella), Children’s Letters to God (Joanna), and Mamma Mia (Sophie) in which she won a Jerry Award in 2019. Reagan has received 4 Jerry Award nominations throughout 2017-2020 and is also a member of the Central Wisconsin Jerry Ensemble. She thanks her family, friends, and teachers for all their love and support. This is Reagan’s first summer with KIDS and she’s so grateful for this amazing opportunity.

Alex Kolb

Bass Trombone - Nekoosa

This fall, Alex Kolb will be a junior at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, studying for a major in Tenor and Bass trombone Performance. An active participant in the Jazz and Classical ensembles on campus, this Marshfield High School Alumni is ecstatic to be joining such a high-energy performance troupe. As his first and only summer as a KIDS bass trombonist, he plans to make his best effort at bringing his all to the 2020 KIDS From Wisconsin.

Cody Kremer

Percussion - Green Bay

Cody Kremer is a freshman at the Milwaukee Area Technical College for music production and audio engineering. This is going to be his first year with KIDS, and he could not be more thrilled. He has been playing drums and percussion since the 5th grade, and participated as first bass drum in drumline and pep band. He enjoys writing and producing his own music on the side. He very much looks forward to gaining experience and fulfillment from KIDS this summer with the percussionist Cade Shipman. Enjoy the show!"

Zach Lewerenz

Piano - Schofield

Zach Lewerenz is currently completing his Junior year of high school via home school/D.C. Everest Senior High and is looking forward to an awesome summer of performing. He plans on majoring in Mechanical Engineering/Business but will enjoy music the rest of his life. Throughout high school, he has competed in State Solo & Ensemble for piano and cello, performed with the WAYS Symphony, D.C.E. Jazz Band, and D.C.E. Theater productions, "Mamma Mia" and "Elf". He also enjoys his role as the CEO of an underwater robotics club (WAHU Robotics). He attributes his musical success to his piano teacher who instilled a love of music and performing in him at a young age and can't wait for KIDS to begin.  

Shannon O'Donnell

Alto - Stevens Point

Shannon O’Donnell is so excited to be joining the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin. Shannon will be a Junior at Stevens Point Area Senior High this fall. This is Shannon’s first year as a Principal Singer/Dancer, although last year she had the amazing opportunity to understudy. Shannon has most recently starred in productions including Mamma Mia! The Musical (Donna) with the SPASH theater dept, a role which she received a Overture's Jerry Award for outstanding lead performer. She also has recently starred in Frozen Jr. (Elsa) and Elf the Musical (Jovie the Elf) with Playhouse Theatre Group. Shannon is a dancer at Dance Education Center where she studies ballet, tap, and jazz. She is extremely grateful to be spending her summer doing what she loves with so many talented individuals. 

Matthew Pakkebier

Tenor - Kenosha

Matthew Pakkebier is ecstatic to be part of the 2020 KIDS From Wisconsin. This is his second year in the troupe and he is excited for another performance filled summer. This coming fall, he will be a Junior at Carthage College, studying towards a BA in Musical Theatre and Music Education with an emphasis in voice. Most recently, he has been seen in Carthage's production of Sweet Charity (Vidal) and Kiss Me Kate (Paul/Gremio). Last year, Matthew had the privilege of being a leader of the Realize Your Dream workshops, where he was able to see many children all across Wisconsin learn and develop their performance skills. He is excited  to see how the program will continue to grow and impact even more kids. Matthew would like to thank his family, friends, and teachers for supporting him along this journey. 

Miranda Parker

Alto - Hartford

Miranda Parker just finished her freshman year at University of Wisconsin -- Milwaukee, and is delighted to be Live in Living Color with the Kids From Wisconsin this summer.  She is joining the troupe for her 3rd tour and is looking forward to one of the best shows yet!  This past year at UWM, Miranda was the dance captain for Bonnie & Clyde, part of New Dancemakers, and member of the Women's Choir. Miranda has also appeared as “Audrey” in Little Shop of Horrors, as well as the dance captain for Cinderella and Mary Poppins.   She began dance classes at age 2, and danced competitively for All the Above Dance Company in West Bend.  Along with her studio training, she spent summers working with the Milwaukee Ballet, OCU’s Jo Rowan, and the world famous Rockettes. Miranda is pursuing a double major in Musical Theater and Dance at UWM.

Alex Pavelic

Woodwind - Grafton

Alex Pavelic can’t wait to join the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin for his second year! He graduated from Grafton High School and has finished his sophomore year at UW-Madison, majoring in Chemistry. Alex enjoys playing saxophone in the UW Jazz Orchestra and in multiple pit orchestras around the Madison area. He is excited to make music with everyone this summer and hopes you enjoy the show!

Nick Phalen

Trumpet - Ringle

Nick Phalen is thrilled to be playing trumpet in his third year with this fantastic group. He just finished his freshman year at UW Eau Claire, studying Political Science and Trumpet Performance. Nick participates in many ensembles in Eau claire, and performs regularly in the area. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Jessie Potter

Soprano - Mequon

Jessie Potter is delighted to be joining Kids From Wisconsin this summer! She currently attends Marymount Manhattan College where she is earning her B.F.A in Musical Theater. She graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in 2019, where she was a captain and founder of their varsity dance team, as well as a three-time Jerry award winning theater performer. This past spring, she was cast as Flo in Marymount Manhattan’s production of Good News. Jessie is incredibly excited to perform with KIDS this summer and she cannot thank the troupe enough for this amazing opportunity!

Sean Powers

Guitar - Wausau

Sean Powers is thrilled to be joining the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin. Sean plays guitar along with brass instruments and has a background in piano as well. This fall, he will be a junior at D.C. Everest Senior High School. Most recently, he was seen performing on Main Street U.S.A. at Disney World in Orlando with the D.C. Everest marching Band. Sean has been seen playing in multiple ensembles, such as Jazz bands, his family trio, and different church worship teams since the age of nine. Sean currently studies guitar and music theory through the University of Wisconsin Whitewater Strings program. In the following years, Sean looks to study guitar performance, with an emphasis on Jazz and Composition. Last year, Sean was fortunate enough to be a 2019 KIDS understudy on guitar. This is his first summer with KIDS as the principal guitarist, and he is excited to be a part of this amazing experience. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Nathan Schmidt

Trumpet - Tichigan

Nate is ecstatic to be spending his third summer with the Kids From Wisconsin. He graduated from Waterford Union High School and currently studies at UW-Madison. He is a Junior majoring in Econ, Trumpet performance and obtaining a certificate in Business. Since fifth grade, Nate has been playing the trumpet and studied with many teachers such as: Mitchell Nelson, Mike Nelson, Alex Noppe, Russ Johnson, and Chad McCullough. He is thrilled for you to see what the KIDS have put together and hopes you enjoy the show.

Megan Shields

Soprano - Port Edwards

Megan Shields is thrilled to perform with KIDS for a fourth season! She recently graduated from John Edwards HS and plans to attend UW-Stevens Point for Elementary Education and Dance. She began dancing at four years old, training in all styles at Rapids School of Performing Arts, where she also helped teach young dancers. Additionally, her choreography was selected and performed at several of her dance recitals. She’s had the privilege of learning under the direction of a Rockette, and participated in her region’s All-Star Choir, State Honors Choir, and many Solo Ensemble competitions, repeatedly advancing to State. Megan is looking forward to performing with her KFW family and putting on an amazing show for you all!

Cade Shipman

Percussion - Medford

Cade Shipman is very excited to be touring with the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin.  Next fall he will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in pursuit of a music major of some kind, but he is currently undecided. He has been playing drums since the sixth grade and was elected President of the Medford Area Senior High band program. Cade has also written and directed the Medford marching band drumline performances since his junior year of high school. This is his first year with KIDS and he could not be more thrilled to be a part of the experience.

Jeffrey-Thomas Snow

Tenor - Mequon

Jeffrey-Thomas (J.T.) Snow is thrilled to be a part of the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin troupe. This fall, he will be a freshman at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music (studying music theatre). JT has appeared in his school’s choir and The Little Mermaid, receiving a Jerry nomination for his role as “Prince Eric”. His most recent credits include being a “Soloist”(Ozaukee Chorus), “Narrator” in The Power of Yes video,“North Avenue Kid” in Hairspray (Skylight Music Theatre), “Rising Star” (Sunset Playhouse), and “Lenny” in Antarctica, WI (First Stage). And he is a sports enthusiast. Go Dawgs! This is J.T.’s second year as a singer/dancer with KIDS, and he is honored to be a part of this amazing troupe. Enjoy the show!

Brady Tooley

Baritone - Forestville

Brady Tooley is excited to be joining the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin for his first time this summer.  In fall, he will be a senior at Southern Door High School in Brussels, Wisconsin.  Recently he performed in Beauty and the Beast as "The Beast".  As a sophomore he was "Pepper" in Momma Mia and as a freshman "The Baker" (Understudy) in Into the Woods.  This past winter, Brady was also accepted in the All-State Jazz Choir.  He is looking forward to being a part of KIDS and the experience he will gain from this amazing opportunity.  

Rachel Wadina

Alto - Mosinee

Rachel is honored to be a part of the 2020 KIDS troupe for her second and final season. Born in Mosinee, she graduated from high school in Stevens Point, and attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. She plans to continue her performing arts career after the KIDS tour is completed. Rachel was involved in studio dance for 16 years studying ballet, jazz, tap, modern, pointe, and many other styles. She has also been singing and studying voice for as long as she can remember. As the daughter of a former KID she knows well the saying “Once a KID, always a KID”. Enjoy Live! In Living Color.

Charlie Watson

Trumpet - Baraboo

Charlie Watson just completed his senior year at Baraboo High School, and is excited for his first year playing trumpet with KIDS! At BHS, Charlie was an active participant in the music program, performing in pit orchestras as well as both Symphony and Jazz Band. He also participated in a plethora of honors groups, including Winds of Wisconsin and UW Honors Jazz. Charlie will attend Northern Illinois University in the fall, majoring in Jazz Studies.

Sydney Belonge

Understudy - Chippewa Falls

Sydney Belonge is so excited for her first year in KIDS as an understudy! She is graduating from the Chippewa Falls High School and is planning to continue her performance and educational career as a Musical Theatre major at MSU Mankato.  Sydney has been in show choir for 4 years as a dance captain and was last seen as the Witch in Into the Woods. Along as Jasmine in Aladdin and other roles at the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre and the CFHS music program. She has also taken a leadership role in the female a cappella group Octettes and has competed at the ICHSA competition.  She thanks her parents for their endless support and love as she wouldn’t be here without it. 

Donovan Boettcher

Understudy - Watertown

Donavan is excited to join the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin.  Donavan will be a senior at Watertown High School this fall.  He performs with Watertown High school's River City Rhapsody, the Carolers, and Men in Blue show choirs. When he's not singing in choir, he is involved in musicals.  He recently played Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Jr.  Other performances include ensemble in Thoroughly Modern Millie,  Orwin the dentist and multiple other characters in Little Shop of Horrors and  Lord Scrumptious and ensemble in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Jr.  This is his first summer with the troupe and he is both excited and honored to be part of this team.

Ellie Brenner

Understudy - Durrand

Ellie Brenner is very excited to be joining the 2020 Kids From Wisconsin Troupe as an understudy! She will be going into her Junior year at Durand Middle/High School in the Fall. She enjoys performing in musicals at the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre (ECCT), playing piano, dancing, and singing. Some of her favorite roles include Elsa in Frozen Jr. (Eau Claire Children’s Theatre), and Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (Menomonie Theatre Guild). Ellie also has participated in State Honors Choir, State Solo Ensemble, and training with Broadway Artists Alliance in NYC. Along with her training, she also enjoys teaching voice, piano, and dance to her students. Ellie is looking forward to this amazing opportunity, and can’t wait for the fun to begin!

Brooke Hestekin

Understudy - Elk Mound

Brooke Hestekin is super excited to join Kids From Wisconsin as a Trumpet Understudy! Brooke will be a Junior this Fall at Elk Mound High School in Elk Mound, WI. She has been playing Trumpet for 6 years now and couldn't love anything more! Brooke participates in numerous events and groups such as her High School Jazz Band, Solo and Ensemble, the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony, various Summer music camps and Honor Bands such as the UW-Eau Claire Honors Band. During the Summer, she also plays in the Mikayla Rolling Big Band. Brooke is looking forward to meeting new people that enjoy music as much as she does, and is very grateful for this opportunity! 

Connor Martin

Understudy - Hartford

Connor Martin is grateful to be returning for a third summer as a Singer/Dancer Understudy with Kids From Wisconsin. Connor will be a senior at Hartford Union High School this fall. Past favorite credits include Lees-McRae Summer Theatre in North Carolina (OLIVER, Oliver Twist), The Fireside Theatre (MARY POPPINS, Michael Banks; PETER PAN, John Darling), The Palace Theater in the Dells (MARY POPPINS, Michael Banks), Capital City Theatre (GYPSY, Newsboy), and Hartford Union High School (SHREK, Lord Farquaad) in which he won a Jerry Award, Outstanding Lead Performance, in 2020. Connor looks forward to spending another summer with KIDS and providing Realize Your Dream workshops for Wisconsin's youth. He would like to thank his family for their continuous support. 

Lindsay Mularski

Understudy - Berlin

Lindsay Mularski is thrilled to join the KIDS as a trombone understudy for her second year! She has been playing trombone for six years, and also diversified by taking up bass trombone. Lindsay is going into her senior year at Berlin High School, and is hoping to pursue a degree in music education in the fall of 2021. While emphasizing in instrumental music, she also sings with her school choir, a capella groups, and show choir. Through vocal music, Lindsay has expanded her talents through musicals/acting, choreography, and All-State and Regional choirs. She has also taken part in many instrumental groups, such as her high school jazz band, honor bands, and music camps through the years.

Taras Nahirniak

Producer and Orchestrator

Taras Nahirniak joined the staff of the Kids in 1990 as our rehearsal accompanist. His multiple talents became apparent quickly, and he was soon assisting with choral rehearsals and writing arrangements for our show. Over the last ten years he has written well over half of the custom arrangements performed by the Kids, and now plays an integral role in the planning and musical direction of our show.

Taras is a freelance arranger and composer, with numerous published works. He writes and composes for vocal groups, drum corps, and marching bands in the U.S., Europe and Japan, and was recently commissioned to compose a five movement piece, "Night Dances", which was performed by the Madison Symphony Orchestras and Madison Ballet for the opening of the Overture Center. In 1997 he composed the full musical, Everyman, which premiered in Madison and was later performed in California. In 2002 he won the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association composers award. Taras also serves as the music director at Bethany United Methodist Church, and is actively involved in the music program at Monona Grove High School.

Kerry Hart Bieneman

Choral Director

Kerry Bieneman holds a B.M. in vocal performance from Lawrence University and a M.M. in vocal performance from Northwestern University. She is an active pianist, music director, and singer throughout southeastern Wisconsin. She has served as a voice professor at Lawrence University, UW-Milwaukee, and Carthage College.


Ms. Bieneman has served as a private vocal coach, accompanist, and music director for many companies including Florentine Opera, Skylight Music Theatre, Opera for the Young, Bel Canto Chorus, Milwaukee Rep, Waukesha Choral Union, and the Four Guyz in Dinner Jackets. She also serves as music director for the Musical Mainstage shows at Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove, WI.


She enjoys singing a variety of repertoire including classical, musical theatre, pop/rock, and jazz. 

She is an active cabaret performer throughout southeastern Wisconsin. 


After being a performer in the Kids (1997-2001), she served 11 years as the Assistant Choral Director. She became the Choral Director in 2017. 

Eric Richards

Stage Band Coach

Dr. Eric Richards is a native of Pittsburgh and currently residing in the great state of Wyoming.  He is a versatile and widely performed composer/arranger, conductor, trombonist and educator active in a broad range of musical media and genres. As a composer who defines himself as a "contemporary American eclectic", he has written music for groups ranging from rural high school marching bands to chamber music ensembles to nationally recognized wind ensembles, big bands, and symphony orchestras. Eric's work as a composer/arranger and trombonist has been heard worldwide in performances recordings by professional and academic ensembles in major concert venues across the United States, Europe, Asia and India.

Eric's work as a teacher and mentor is energized by his professional activities. In 2015, Dr. Richards accepted an appointment as the Director of Bands and Jazz Studies at Sheridan College in Wyoming where he serves as Music Director of the Sheridan Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and leads program initiatives in recruiting, outreach, and curriculum development.
